This Privacy Policy explains how KitchenReady ("KitchenReady," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our field site-survey application and related services (the "Service"). KitchenReady is a Progressive Web App built for commercial-foodservice equipment dealers to document customer kitchen sites. The Service is operated by 10hours.ai (also operating as AI Elevates LLC).

By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information so we can provide the Service:

Account information

Your account email address, and an optional display name.

Company profile

Your company name, a brand color, and a company logo you choose to upload.

Survey content

The site-survey information you enter about commercial kitchen sites — for example dimensions, utilities, equipment details, and notes.
Photos, video, and voice recordings you capture of customer kitchen sites.
AI-generated transcripts of the voice recordings you create.

Billing information

Your subscription and billing status. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor, Stripe, and are not stored by KitchenReady (see "Payments" below).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Create and maintain your account and authenticate you.
Provide the core Service: storing, organizing, and displaying your surveys, media, and company profile.
Generate equipment suggestions and voice transcripts using AI features you choose to use.
Process subscriptions and manage billing through Stripe.
Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
Respond to your requests and provide support.
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. AI Processing and Subprocessors

Some features of the Service use third-party artificial intelligence providers. When you use these features, the relevant content is sent to those providers, which process it on our behalf as subprocessors:

Equipment recognition. When you ask the Service to identify equipment, the equipment photos you capture — including images of data plates — are sent to a third-party AI vision provider (OpenAI GPT-4o, accessed through an OpenAI-compatible integration) to suggest equipment make, model, and specifications.
Voice transcription. When you record a voice note, the recording is sent to OpenAI Whisper to produce a text transcript.

AI output is a suggestion only. You review and confirm AI-generated results before they are saved into your survey. Because AI suggestions can be inaccurate or incomplete, you are responsible for verifying them — see our Terms of Service for more detail on AI features.

4. Payments

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. When you subscribe, the payment details you provide (such as your card number) are collected and processed directly by Stripe under its own terms and privacy policy. KitchenReady does not receive or store full payment card numbers. We retain limited billing information, such as your subscription tier and payment status, to manage your account.

5. Data Storage and Security

The Service is built on Google Firebase and Google Cloud Platform. Your data — including account records, survey content, and uploaded media — is stored in the United States, in the Google Cloud us-central1 region.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including:

Encryption of data in transit using industry-standard TLS.
Access controls and authentication that limit who can reach your data.
Use of established, security-reviewed infrastructure providers.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

As a Progressive Web App, the Service stores some information directly on your device so it can work reliably, including offline:

Authentication tokens from Firebase, so you stay signed in.
An offline data cache (using IndexedDB in your browser) so you can keep working when you have limited or no connectivity.
A service worker that is registered to enable offline use and standard Progressive Web App functionality.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. The storage described above is used to operate the Service.

7. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can delete surveys you are authorized to manage from within the app. Account deletion removes your account and personal data. Shared company surveys and their attachments remain with the company when a member deletes their account. Contact info@ai-elevates.com to request company-data deletion or export. Limited records may be retained to meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations, or in routine backups for a limited period before they expire. Our subprocessors retain data according to their own policies.

8. Your Rights and Choices

You have control over your information:

Access and correction. You can view and edit your profile and company details, and edit your survey content, directly in the app.
Deletion. You can delete surveys you are authorized to manage in the app. You can delete your account and personal data from Account settings. Shared company surveys and their attachments are retained for the company; contact us about company-data deletion requests.
Data export. To request a copy of your data, contact us using the details below and we will assist you.
Questions and other requests. For any privacy questions or to exercise rights available to you under applicable law, contact us using the details below.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local data protection laws. We will honor those rights as required.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is a professional tool intended for business use and is not directed to children. It is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
